South America Route

This map is my route through South America, including in green my most probable route to Ushaia right now - though this could change as I get further south (I've just heard that it is a strong possibility that the roads in Bolivia will continue to be closed for several weeks because of a political protest.)

From Panama City to Quito I took a plane (my bike was on a separate cargo plane.) There is no road going through eastern Panama - an area called the Darien Gap - so a plane or boat is necessary, and because of the war in Colombia it seemed smarter to skip past that country entirely.
