This is the ferry that plies the channel between the South American mainland and Tierra del Fuego - looks like we're about to be sent into Normandy.
And somehow they made all of us fit - including 4 double long tractor trailers and about 25 cars.

This is an arctic (subarctic?) fox who I chased across the construction site at the Argentine border post in Tierra del Fuego - and after I decided to leave him alone and not get any closer, he followed me back to my motorcycle.

Remember the Ozone Hole? Well, it's still here. This means you can freeze your ass off and get burned all in the same short amount of time.

This is from March 12, an hour after arrival in Ushuaia. Of course, this was shot 37 on a roll of 36 photos, so I won't be getting the traditional shot in front of the "End of the World" sign for a few weeks. And of course, I haven't bothered going there yet. Whatever. As one motorcyclist I met on the way through Patagonia said, "Everyone keeps forgetting, it's round!"
